I've never had a pedicure before but thinking of getting one today....however, i'm really competitive in sports %26amp; i dont want my feet to be hurting in my cleats from a pedicure (if that would even happen??) i have no idea, so if anyone knows if running a lot after a pedicure would hurt could you let me know? like do they put acrylic on toenails like to do for a manicure?
thanks!!Pedicure and sports?
No, they dont put acrylic on your toes UNLESS you ask them to, pedicures are the best! They are sooooo relaxing! You will LOVE it and keep coming back for more....heres pretty much what is done......First you soak your feet in a warm, spa-type tub with jets shooting out to massage your feet (it feels greats!) then they cut your toenails the length you want them and if you have any in-grown toenails (which might happen because you play sports) they clip those out (it doesnt hurt, it actually feels releaving) then they scrub all the dead skin off your feet and make them smooth and soft, then they massage your foot and leg a little just to get the blood flowing, and last they paint your toes any color you want! You will so enjoy this experience......and some nail places even have the massage chairs that you can sit back and relax on...well hope you like it!Pedicure and sports?
No, they just soak your feet, scrub all the dead skin off, massage your feet and up to your calves, cut your toenails to you desired length, and paint them whatever color you want!! It feels great and they are so soft and smooth after wards!! Go and enjoy!!
A pedicure makes your feet feel wonderful - get one.
omg!!!!you have never ogt one!well you should go get one.....if you want acrylics on your toenails you can get them but i dont think that is a good idea since ur into sports...all they do is soak them, cut them, and then paint them...it really feels good , you should get one..:)
If you want acrylic you can have it. But I wouldn't recommend it if you wear closed shoes regularly. A pedicure can feel good for you since your on your feet alot, get one with a cleansing and exfoliating massage, because some athletes have foot odor. Paint them something solid and neutral. White painted tips only last one day, for you probably an hour.
Pedicures don't hurt at all. Now your feet will be flip-flop ready??
