Yup...that happened to me a few times at my old salon.


My advice: Find a new salon that appreciates the business you bring them and your good tip!

I've been visiting the same salon for about 6 years now and I always tip (on-top-of the freebies I get). Every time, my Techs are very grateful. Perhaps my track record speaks for itself.

Yes, at some places. But when that does happen and if I happen to go back to that business - I don't tip. I feel that their prices already include their tip. It's expensive getting our hair, nails and waxing done. I get paid a salary at my job - no one tips me for going the extra mile or doing something above and beyond and at times, my job(s) do not give out bonuses. So - a lot of the time - I'm paying only the price for the service that's posted on the price menu.
