What happens at a pedicure?

Details please, is it just the toes, or the whole foot they work on? Thanks. What happens at a pedicure?
its a bit of both...

i mean they clean, refine, and paint your toenails

but

they also soak your feet in warm water, rub it against something hard to make the dead skin cells go away, and they put lotion on them...

sometimes it just depends on which place you go too...

Well anyways, its fun and refreshing. :DWhat happens at a pedicure?
A pedicure is a way to improve the appearance of the feet and their nails. It provides a similar service as a manicure. The word pedicure comes from the Latin words pedis, which means of the foot, and cura, which means care. It also means the care of the feet and toenails. A pedicure can help prevent nail diseases and nail disorders. Pedicures are not just limited to nails; usually dead skin cells on the bottom of feet are rubbed off using a rough stone called a pumice stone.
Usually they soak your feet in warm water and clean/remove old nail polish on your toenails. They will also trim your toenails, if needed. They then, will scrub your feet, like bottoms of feet and moisturize your feet and your legs up to your knees. It differs, depending on where you go. Sometimes they put your feet in warm wax and sometimes they give you hot stone massages... After all of that, they polish your toes!
