The last two times I have got a pedicure I end up getting ingrown toenails. I am wondering if the nail tech is cutting them too short or rounding the edges too much. Does anyone else have this problem after getting a pedicure? What can I do to prevent it in the future? Any suggestion would be helpful. Thanks!Does anyone else get ingrown toenails from pedicures?
I usually have ingrown toenails when I go in for a pedi, it happens to me because I let my toes go so long with out cutting them or get a pedi. But in your case its probably because he or she cut them too short. Try a new tech. Talk to your friends and see who they go to and if they are any good. Make sure every time you go and get or toe/nails/eye brows that the equipment they used a sanitize, or new. If not then there is a risk on an infectionDoes anyone else get ingrown toenails from pedicures?
if you have medical insurance, you might want to see your doctor, Alot of times places where you go to get a pedicure might not be insured. If that is happening to you, I wouldn't go back. Foot doctors/ a good one can do wonders. Even before your doctor does anything, it is your responsibility to make sure your insurance will pay.to make sure your insurance will cover any procedure before they do anything though.
